The Canadian Order of AHEPA


Founded in 1922

AHEPA was founded in 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia on the principles that undergirded its fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred.

The first Canadian chapter was founded shortly afterward in 1928 in Toronto, Canada.
AHEPA is the largest and oldest grassroots association of citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes with more than 400 chapters across Canada, United States and Europe.

Our Mission

To promote the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility,
family and individual excellence through community service and volunteerism.

The Canadian Order of AHEPA (COA) is organized into three Districts and the National Lodge Office which is located in Ottawa.  Each District has a Governor and an executive which assist local Chapters achieve their goals

AFCFC FOUNDATION

“The Ahepa family Charitable Foundation of Canada (AFCFC) mirrors the mission statement of the entire AHEPA Family; which is to promote Hellenism, Philanthropy, Education, Civic Responsibility; family & Individual Excellence. As the primary philanthropic arm of the Ahepa family in Canada, the AFCFC serves the membership by assisting in fundraising efforts, promoting and awarding scholarship, as well as being a point for grants and donations to be used across Canada.
